Notary Fee
$15 per signature notarized. Call with the number of signatures and documents to confirm the total. Ask about separate charges for any additional services you request.
What to Bring
- Your complete document: Bring all pages and complete the required information, leaving signatures for the notary’s instructions.
- Identification for each signer: Bring an acceptable identification document, such as a current driver’s license or passport. Call ahead if you have questions about your ID.
- The signer: Each person whose signature will be notarized must appear in person.
- Receiving-agency instructions: Bring any instructions about the required notarial certificate or witnesses.
- Any required witnesses: Call ahead to discuss witness arrangements if your document requires them.
Wait to sign until the notary instructs you. For a jurat, you must sign in the notary’s presence and take an oath or affirmation. If you are unsure which notarial act is required, ask the receiving agency or document preparer before your visit.
